Sea, nature, food and history... Called Kallistè the most beautiful by the Greeks, Corsica is all of this and more... For an exotic holiday in the Mediterranean Sea's very own island paradise.

Ostriconi

Ostriconi

A short distance from the Île Rousse Coast, Ostriconi Beach is a beach that gets its name from the beautiful Ostriconi River that flows into its waters. Almost a hidden local secret, Ostriconi Beach is popular with Corsicans simply because of its isolation. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, Ostriconi is so isolated that even its shops and kiosks are surrounded by nature.

Ostriconi Beach can only be accessed by foot. Beach-goers must park their car about a kilometre away and follow the trail along the mountain side, past beautiful views of the vast forest and seaside and up the sand dunes to the beach.

Never overly crowded, the beach allows visitors to escape some of the bigger tourist traps of Corsica and immerse themselves in the true local flavour. A real paradise of tranquility, Ostriconi is bordered by a large Mediterranean marquis, perfect for the more adventurous of us who want to explore some of Corsica’s most beautiful landscape.
